In August 2016 Australian slide guitarist and music producer Dom Turner travelled to Toledo Ohio to record with Sacred-Steel guitarist Nikki D Brown. What followed was a series of dual slide-guitar infused, gospel- soul, funk-blues tunes. The session included Nikki's sisters Gloria and Belinda, and cousin Tomika Webb in what was to become the birth of an American-Australian musical fusion - The Turner Brown Band - and a debut album, Sliding Steel.
